Every Roadhaus is 2.5m wide and sits under 6 tonnes. That keeps the range on standard 2.7t electric-brake axles, and off the truck axles and air brakes anything heavier needs. Pick the length.

All prices include GST, ex factory at Laceys Creek, registered chassis included. Floor areas are the main floor, with the sleeping loft over it. Lock-up is the weathertight shell, ready for your fit-out. Turn-key is finished throughout: kitchen, bathroom, lining, flooring, electrical and plumbing, hot water and air conditioning. Transport, footings, connection and any approval sit on top and are quoted with your site. Every price is confirmed against your specification before contract.

People ask which one is better value. That is the wrong question, and the answer is not the one you would expect from a builder trying to sell you the dearer product.
The wheels are the point
You want to move it yourself, you want it registered, and 2.5m is the width you need to stay road legal. That is worth paying for, and it is the only thing a Roadhaus does that a modular home cannot.

You get more room for the money and a wider box to live in. A Roadhaus costs more than a modular home of the same floor area. A registered chassis costs more than a steel skid, and a 2.5m box carries more wall per square metre than a 3.4m one.

What we are not going to tell you
Two claims get made about homes on wheels constantly. Both are being sold to Australians right now. We are not making either of them, and here is why.

“You will not need council approval”
Queensland local laws cap how long you can occupy something on wheels on your own land, and the cap moves council to council. Wheels do not put you outside the planning system. Check with your council, or ask us and we will tell you what we know about yours.

“It is certified as a Class 1a dwelling”
A Roadhaus is built to the same standard as our modular range. Whether a building certifier signs a Form 21 for that build sitting on a registered chassis is an open question, and we are working through it. We will tell you what the build is. We are not going to claim a certificate we do not have.
