Two findings on one site, both caught before a dollar went into design.
Moved clear of core koala habitat
The proposed position clipped a state-protected koala overlay. Shifting the dwelling a short distance avoided a state planning referral and a habitat report.
Set 1.7m off the side boundary
Building hard against the 1.5m minimum triggers a registered boundary survey. An extra 200mm removed that survey outright, with no change to the floor plan.
